Bats in Buildings

Bats use man-made structures for roosting, such as barns, attics and under bridges.

Choosing the Right Roost Site Means Staying Warm.
Bats need the right temperature. Bats are mammals and are warm-blooded. They are small and use lots of energy to stay warm.
Hanging in groups in warm spots helps bats keep warm and conserve energy.
