Western Mastiff Bat
The Western Mastiff bat is the largest bat in California with a wingspan of 23 inches. This is one of only two California bats that have an echolocation call low frequency enough for humans to hear, at mostly 7-12 kHz.

Listen to the echolocation clicks of a Western Mastiff bat.
