Ettie St. Pump Station

The Ettie Street Pump Station discharges stormwater from this watershed. These lowlands had drained slowly to the marsh now buried under fill. Flooding remained a problem in this area until the stormdrain and pump system was built in 1954. Flows from the Broadway Branch of Glen Echo Creek were also diverted into this system.
