Directions:
From the Oakland Airport, take 880 north to the Oak Street exit. Turn
right on Oak and go four blocks to Oak and 10th. You'll see the museum
on your right.
Driving from San Francisco, cross the Bay Bridge and follow signs to
580 East. Take 980 west to downtown Oakland, exit at the Jackson Street
ramp, and proceed straight on the exit road to the third light (Oak). Turn
left and go five blocks to Oak and 10th St.
On BART from San Francisco, take the Fremont train to the Lake Merritt
station. Exit at 9th Street and walk down 9th, with the one-way flow of
traffic, one block to Fallon. Turn left and walk one short block to 10th
St. You'll see the museum right in front of you, with steps leading down
from the street to the main entrance.
From Contra Costa County, take highway 24 or 580 to 980 West, Take 980
west to downtown Oakland, exit at the Jackson Street ramp, and proceed
straight on the exit road to the third light (Oak). Turn left and go five
blocks to Oak and 10th St.
