History Guild Travel | Ashland
To see or not to see! This special trip to Ashland is a definite must see, with an exciting and diverse season of plays for 2013. History Guild travelers will be pleased to note the production of King Lear this year, which has been sorely missed in recent years. Other plays we’ll take in include The Taming of the Shrew, My Fair Lady, and A Streetcar Named Desire. Our theatrical experiences will be rounded out by a trip to the college museum, a tour of the various historic and interesting aspects of Lithia Park, time for leisure, and shopping or attending other plays of your choice. Our lodging will be at The Stratford Inn in the heart of downtown Ashland.
During Fourth of July weekend, we’ll be able to attend Ashland’s parade and the many other community events including an open-air artisan fair. The whole of downtown Ashland comes alive the festivities so expect lots to do and see! Travelers can enjoy as many or as few holiday events as you want. Come join the History Guild and enjoy Ashland and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival at this delightful time of year.
