OMCA Talk @ Lafayette Library: Playing with Fire

Explore the ways in which California artists have worked with-and evolved-the alluring medium of glass! Join Oakland Museum of California Director Lori Fogarty in conversation with glass artists Mary White and Michelle Knox for a lively discussion about this extraordinary art-making process. OMCA' s special exhibition Playing with Fire: Artists of the California Studio Glass Movement, on view through March 24, 2013, is part of the nationwide celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the studio glass movement in the United States.
