The Museum is closed New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
OMCA is open late on Fridays until 9 pm.
The Gallery of California Natural Sciences is under renovation and will reopen in May 2013. Opening celebrations are scheduled for May 31 through June 2, 2013.

Friday Nights @ OMCA includes half-price admission for adults and free admission for ages 18 and under, 5–9 pm.
