Membership and Admission Changes

We've completed a multi-year renovation and transformation, and now OMCA's membership and admission rates are changing to reflect our incredible, diverse offerings. With three permanent Galleries—California Art, California History, and, new in 2013, California Natural Sciences—OMCA essentially offers three museums in one, telling the story of California with a multidisciplinary approach unlike any other museum in the state. From educational  resources for Oakland schools, to free entertainment and family activities during Friday Nights @ OMCA, to stewarding a collection of over 1.8 million objects for the people of Oakland and the state of California, changes in admissions and membership rates make all of OMCA’s offerings possible.

Join or renew your Membership now through October 1, 2013 to lock in great Member benefits at the current lower rates!
