disparate communities live, work, celebrate, and share. Dr. Brown’s Grammy-nominated ensemble reinterprets jazz classics by adding Asian instrumentation to the mix.

The concert marks Trading Traditions’ closing weekend—Sunday, April 6 is the last chance to see the colorful photographs, clothing, and maps. Curators Lonny Shavelson, Fred Setterberg, and sound designer James LeBrecht will be on hand for tours.

Museum admission is $8 for adults, $5 seniors and students with ID, and free for museum members, kids five and under, and Oakland city employees.
